Shivani Row is on the writing team at the University of Virginia’s Her Campus chapter. She’s a first-year at UVA, and she joined the staff during the 2024-2025 academic year. Shivani’s intended major is Government with a potential minor in Philosophy or Public Policy. Ultimately, she hopes to go to law school and earn a J.D. degree. She’s interested in family or criminal law, combining her passion for social justice with her interest in law.
Shivani is from Northern Virginia, and she was also a staff writer for her high school newspaper. She enjoys writing articles about mental health & wellness, social activism, and current events.
Beyond Her Campus, Shivani is involved in multiple organizations at UVA, including ISA (Indian Student Association) and PAFN (The Peer Advising Family Network). In her free time, she also enjoys writing short stories, reading, singing, going to the gym, watching TV, listening to music, and going on walks with friends. Some of her favorite shows include Jane the Virgin, Suits, Gossip Girl, and Outer Banks.
She’s excited for her first year on Her Campus! She’s looking forward to writing about health & wellness, tips to get involved on campus, and exploring her interests in writing this year.
