Hi Her Campus readers! My name is Sydney and I am a student at Providence College, a part of the class of 2026. I currently major in Creative Writing and minor in Political Science, but I am likely going to double major in Psychology as well! My writing areas of interest include fiction, arts and entertainment/pop culture, analysis, and activism. In addition to writing on Her Campus, I also write for the Cowl and Tutor at the Writing Center. Recently, I started my own podcast on the school's radio station, WDOM 91.3. My show is titled "Into the Drafts" and is a weekly video essay from 6-8 on Saturdays, and analyzes how different forms of media (tv shows, movies, books) connect to larger social themes in the world. I am most excited about writing for Her Campus because I like to write my pieces with the hope that they will reach like-minded people, and that is the case with readers and writers of Her Campus.
