Sydney Reardon

Hello! I am Sydney Reardon a Film and Media Studies Student at UC Santa Barbara and am also interested in pursuing a Professional Writing minor with a focus in Journalism. I am involved in many on campus organizations including being a Global Intern for the UCSB Education Abroad Program, UCSB Women in Media, the Honors Program and Engaging Humanities. I also hold a position as a Student Assistant at the UC Santa Barbara Library. Outside of campus I have also been a PR Intern for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival for both the 2023 and 2024 festival.

In terms of my professional goals I am currently planning on attending law school after graduating from undergrad. I plan to specialize in Entertainment Law while I am in law school. I also have an interest in Public Relations, Marketing and Production.

In my free time I enjoy reading, swimming in the ocean, watching movies and spending time with my friends and family. I am also very interested in watching sports like Formula One and Baseball. My favorite music artist is Taylor Swift and my favorite genres are pop, indie and film scores. I am really excited to be apart of UCSB’s chapter of Her Campus
