Hello! My name is Tiffani Total and I am a sophomore English major with a psychology minor here at SU. I have always loved to write but I loathed the subjects I had to write about; you know the ones- boring essays on old theories of the mind, scientific explanations regarding whatever botched experiment you just completed in your 8am biology lab, or some arbitrary paper about the disappearing middle class. My joy in writing, however, is a product of the want and ability to express and share the aspects of life that I love and the parts of life I feel we need to change.
My interests include music; ie. Noah Kahan- he was good before Stick Season you posers, sports ie Wisconsin based teams, tv shows- mostly animated, and many more. I am a hopeless romantic with an incredibly bad track record, really it's truly impressive, but still manages to find herself stuck in the unrealistic worlds of wacky romcoms and poorly drawn webtoons- read Humor Me on Tapas I swear it will change your life, on god.
One other important part of me is that I am an ex- Catholic, so girliepop if you have any sort of religious trauma watch out because oh boy, so do I. I also hail from a small town where people road motorized desks, yes desks, to school and the only fun thing to do was ride around in your father's beat up Dodge Dekota and search for elk in the fall; no I will not tell you where I live because you would not have heard of it anyway. So you can expect a number of the articles I write here will be influenced by how and where I was brought up.
So come hop on up in my dad's truck, buckle your seatbelt and pray the car does not break down as we take some trips down the chaos that is the experience of being a 20 year old girl in 2023 and beyond.
