Zoe Singeisen

Howdy! My name is Zoe, but my nearest and dearest friends call me Z, and I use they/them/their pronouns. Currently a junior at the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg credit wise but this will be my fourth semester on campus. With a major in History major and minors in Astronomy and Non-Profit Management, I am set to graduate in December 2025. This will be my second semester editing for Her Campus, but I am an editor for a publishing company in Sarasota called Elkenheart Publishing.

When I am not in class or working, you can usually find me with my nose in a book, whether it be for academics or personal enjoyment, reading is one of my favorite past times. In the most perfect world-where money and time is not an ever pressing issue- after school I would go onto getting my PhD in History focusing on space exploration during the Cold War, but for now I am planning on continuing my work for and with adults with intellectual disabilities.

Some other personal tidbits about me is that I grew up in the Savannah, Georgia area (Go Dawgs!) and moved to Florida in 2019 with my mom and younger sister. Speaking of which my family's house is not only home to three humans- momma, sister and step dad- but also five (yes you read that right five) cats, two dogs, and two very loud birds. My favorite animals are otters, specifically Asian sea otters, and my favorite color is purple.
