Last week we asked for submissions from college girls who love to blog, are creative, and care deeply about the environment and conserving the earth’s precious natural resources.
The Body Shop and HerCampus.com are partnering to promote the Earth Lovers Three Minute Shower Challenge, a national program aiming to get college students across the country to reduce their water usage by pledging to cut their shower time down to a mere 3 minutes.
A huge part of the Earth Lovers Three Minute Shower Challenge are the Earth Lovers Three Minute Shower Challenge Bloggers, 5 college women who will blog daily for 2 weeks right here on HerCampus.com about their journey to reduce their water consumption. The blogs will run for the two weeks leading up to Earth Day (April 8-April 22, 2011).
We’ve found five energetic, engaging, ambitious, digital-savvy college women who are passionate about reducing their environmental impact and about blogging about it as they go, and encouraging others to get in on the challenge too.
We can’t wait to see their blogs launch on Friday, April 8! As a prize for being selected, these bloggers will be receiving an Earth Lovers gift basket from The Body Shop worth $100!
