All of my friends from Harvard are upset with me because I am missing what is quite possibly the best day of the year to be a Harvard student/alum: Harvard-Yale. Harvard-Yale (also known as “the game”) is the annual face-off between Harvard and Yale’s football teams. As the superior team (and the superior school) Harvard almost always defeats that sorry excuse for a football team that Yale throws together every year. When will they learn that as Yalies, they should really just stop trying all together? It’s getting kind of pathetic. (okay, okay – so to be honest there just might be a small hint of school rivalry coming out here).
Anyway, Harvard-Yale is today and I’m not in Cambridge to watch the game (or better yet – to tailgate before it). Why? Well, my dad decided that it was about time to throw a Roaring 20s/Great Gatsby party at my house, complete with a live band, catering, and a full bar. I do love a good party and I do love my dad so I decided to make the trek down to North Carolina.
Check out the video I put together on how to dress up for your next Roaring 20s or Great Gatsby themed party!
