Win a Career Coaching Session with the Authors of “Be Your Own Best Publicist”

Here at HC, we love introducing you to remarkable women you can respect and admire. That’s why we’re super excited about the opportunity for you to win a 30-minute coaching session with two of our favorite career professionals, Jessica Kleiman and Meryl Weinsaft Cooper.

The pubic relations gurus co-penned the book any driven collegiette should own: “Be Your Own Best Publicist”. We’ve featured Jessica, the vice president of Hearst Magazines public relations, on our site before as a How She Got There star and person to follow on Twitter. The duo have even paid the Hofstra University branch of HC a visit to spread their book’s gospel to aspiring media professionals.

Now we know you wish you could chat with the talented twosome directly—so do we! All you have to do is vote for the Best Publicist SXSW Interative ’13 panel called “Creating Buzz on a Budget.” It only takes a minute to register and cast your vote and you can only vote once. For every collegiette who sends a screenshot of her vote to bestpublicist@gmail.com with her name, email, and phone number, she will be entered to win a private session with the savvy pair. Voting ends on Friday, August 31 and submissions will be accepted until Friday, September 7. Now get to it!

Be sure to order a copy of “Be Your Own Best Publicist” for tips on making your brand and standing out at your internship/first entry-level position.
