These TikToks Making Fun Of Gen Alpha Shopping At Sephora Will Have You Cracking Up

Unless you don’t have TikTok, odds are you’ve seen the discourse about 10-year-olds in Sephora, AKA, Gen Alpha becoming Sephora’s primary customers. These videos have completely taken over my FYP, with a ton of reactions from Gen Z wondering why 10-year-olds stopped shopping at Claire’s and are now spending hundreds of dollars on Drunk Elephant skincare products. FYI, I’m nearly 22 years old and I have yet to own any Drunk Elephant products, and my skin is looking fine. Just saying.

Now, I’m not saying I’m a fan of Gen Alpha absolutely taking over Sephora, but when I was 10 years old, I was a makeup fanatic. I spent a lot of time watching makeup tutorials from Bethany Mota and then begging my parents to get me some of the products. However, a lot of the makeup I ended up getting was from Claire’s or, of course, the coveted Maybelline Baby Lips. And I wouldn’t want it any other way.

While there’s nothing wrong with experimenting with makeup at a young age, there is a right way to go about it. Many TikToks about Gen Alpha shopping in Sephora share how these kids destroy tester products, are rude and disruptive, and of course, a lot of the time, are shopping for products their youthful skin does not need, like spending nearly $80 on Retinol cream

Speaking from personal experience, a few days ago I walked into my local Sephora and saw about 10+ Gen Alpha girls making “skincare smoothies” from Drunk Elephant products. More than anything, it’s quite sad that these girls are looking to get products that they absolutely do not need. And I’m not the only one who thinks this. As I said before, Gen Alpha shopping in Sephora has been the primary content on my FYP lately, and while I’ve seen lots of rants and PSAs about this, I’ve also seen the humorous aspect to it. And y’all, these videos are good. Here are 10 of the funniest TikToks about Gen Alpha shopping at Sephora

That skin care is working like magic, youd never know she was 10 🤣

Obviously, this is a joke, but I’m LOL because it’s so real.

TBH, same.

When I was 10, my biggest worry was getting the new Christmas pallet from Claire’s.

I still cringe every time I think about this Kelly Osburne video, but he has a point here.

I know I said I was putting funny videos in here, but this is just too real.

condolences to all sephora employees that have been bullied by them🙏🏼🙏🏼

Somebody give the Sephora workers a raise and a spa day because they need it.

The music is killing me, but BFFR with these skincare smoothies.

@lexislately

Honestly the drunk elephant testers at sephora werent terrible but you could tell a 10 year old had just just made a skincare smoothie. 12 year olds dont need retinol that is all 💀✋🏼 #sephorakids #sephora #drunkelephant #omg #relatable #lmao #skincaresmoothie #gross

If Patrick Starr thinks it’s crazy, that’s when you know it truly is.

While 10 year olds have been taking over Sephora, there truly is nothing wrong with experimenting with makeup and having an interest in different products. However, doing so in a polite manner and one that doesn’t destroy the displays the workers create is something that a lot of Gen Alpha Sephora shoppers need to work on. In the meantime, I’ll be searching for the best Drunk Elephant dupes because, TBH, I’m on a budget.
