For the last two weeks, the world has watched in amazement and confusion as countless organizations have released their self-made versions of “Harlem Shake” videos. These thirty second clips, all of which include the song “Harlem Shake” by DJ Baauer as the soundtrack and some dancing straight out of a dubstep concert, use a similar template with some very unique variations.
With students donning everything from huge dinosaur masks to full-body spandex green men costumes, it may be easier to see for yourself what makes these videos so amusing. Check out our favorite college campus Harlem Shake videos!Â

UGA Swim & Dive Team
What’s better than a group of male swimmers shaking it in speedos? A group of male swimmers shaking it in speedos while underwater. Although we’re still deciding whether we’re more impressed by how long the University of Georgia Men’s Swim & Dive team held their breath for this or their seriously intense dance moves, we do know that this vid is definitely worth checking out.

University of Toronto
Turns out our friends over the northern border know how to shake it too! There is certainly strength in numbers when it comes to this version of the Harlem Shake, and it might just be the best thing you’ve ever seen take place in a lecture hall.Â

Beta at Indiana University
With fratters, finagling dance moves, and a guy that quite literally falls out of the sky, it should be obvious after viewing why this one made our list of favorites. Check out this very classly  affair turned rager from IU.

Boston College
In a library that could easily pass as a part of Hogwart’s campus, the kids at Boston College show us how New Englanders do the Shake. Props on the costume creativity, BC!

UCLA
An outdoor party involving a life-size penguin, ballerina elephant, and their beloved mascot Joe Bruin the bear? We would expect nothing less from these west coast student shakers. Kudos to UCLA for incorporating some school spirit into their Harlem Shake video!Â
