Last night, things got gut-wrenchingly real on The Bachelor. Ahead of next week’s hometown dates, Nick sent home Danielle M. and Kristina, two of the more genuine girls this season. He used the same excuse we’ve been hearing for weeks—that his relationships with the other women are just stronger. Excuse me, but I refuse to believe that what Nick has with Corinne is “strong.”
Up until now, I’ve found Corinne’s antics to be enjoyable fun, a way to pass time until Nick started forming meaningful connections with the other women. But after this week, I am just done.
1. There’s NO WAY Nick is serious about her
Nick knows the value of an entertaining villain, and that’s why he’s keeping her around.
2. They haven’t had a single meaningful conversation
Corinne spends most of her time talking to the camera. I can’t imagine she has any breath left to actually have a worthwhile conversation with Nick.
3. She’s the only girl left who hasn’t had a one-on-one
This is a sign. Nick would rather have multiple one-on-ones with Vanessa, Rachel and Danielle M. than spend a second alone with Corinne.
4. He’s not even interested in her sex abilities
We know you’re not above hooking up with someone before fantasy suites, Nick. So why not let Corinne wow you with her sex abilities?
5. Women who are more deserving are being sent home so that Corinne can stay
I honestly don’t think Nick has any interest in a relationship with Corinne. He might not have felt a lasting spark with Kristina or Danielle M., but he at least could have tried to build something with them. Because we all know that’s never going to happen with Corinne.
I want to spend a hometown date with Raquel just as much as you do, but that doesn’t mean I have to care about where Nick and Corinne stand.
