The votes are in, collegiettes: according to People, Adam Levine is the ‘Sexist Man Alive’ for 2013.
The 34-year-old Maroon 5 frontman and The Voice coach, whose new title was announced during Tuesday’s episode of The Voice, stole the crown from 2012’s winner Channing Tatum.
“As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn’t really think that this was on the table,” Adam told People. “I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren’t, so that’s cool.”
According to the magazine, Adam credits yoga and spinning for his honorable physique. As for his success, he just hopes it keeps going up from here. “This is just a really interesting time where everything seems to be heading in a certain direction,” he said. “And I’m not taking any of it for granted.”
