Once again, Taylor Swift is in the spotlight for her latest romance and once again, she’s not getting positive feedback. Why can’t people just let Taylor do Taylor? Well, she does have one unlikely supporter throughout this whole thing, and that’s candid feminist Amber Rose.
In an interview with The Daily Beast, Rose was asked about her opinion on Swift’s, well, swift romance with Hiddleston. “I think she’s fucking awesome,” Rose started—and we knew it’d be good from that point on. She pointed out the double standard between men and women, noting that nobody seems to even notice when guys are onto the next. “I feel like guys do that all the time—they break up and the next day they’re with another girl and nobody really says anything,” she said. “But with Taylor it’s, you know what, I’m done with Calvin [Harris] and it didn’t work out, so on to the next.”
So why does that happen? “It is because it’s unheard of, and she’s acting very ‘slutty’ and for some reason needs time to ‘let her pussy rest’,” Rose went on to explain. “That’s how people look at it, and it’s just like, hell no! If I’m done, why do I have to sit in the house and be lonely?”
