MTV Confused Everyone Planning To Watch The VMAs On Paramount+

The 2023 MTV VMAs are off to a rocky start. Leading up to the live ceremony, many were prepared to stream the show on Paramount+, but minutes before the VMAs Pre-Show began, media outlets reported that the live show was only available to watch on the MTV app or cable. Not too many people who watch the VMAs have cable or know of someone who has an account with a TV provider.

After learning that Paramount+ would not be streaming the VMAs until Sept. 13, fans began searching the internet for other ways to watch the live show. Naturally, those who planned to watch the VMAs on Paramount+ were heated and immediately hopped on Twitter/X to share their reactions to the snafu, while also dragging the streamer.

Most people took to Twitter/X to ask if there was another way to watch the live show, since Paramount+ let everyone down. Meanwhile, others were freaking out, since they don’t want to miss their chance to watch the VMAs live. Though the show will be available on Paramount+ the day after it airs live, what fun would it be to watch the VMAs a day late? The 2023 VMAs aren’t even in full swing and the night is already turning into a hot mess thanks to the misleading information fans were given.

Some are even asking the internet’s help for ways to watch the VMAs live. Leave it to social media to get to the bottom of things!

Though Paramount+ let us all down, viewers can still enjoy the VMAs on MTV and the MTV app. You can also watch on MTV’s sister networks BET, BET Her, CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Pop, TVLand & VH1. The MTV app offers free 24-hour viewing passes. The show is also available to watch on streaming platforms like Hulu Live TV, YouTubeTV, AT&T TV, and FuboTV. Good news: Many offer a free trial. Though all seemed lost after the Paramount+ snafu, there are still ways to watch the 2023 VMAs and us viewers couldn’t be happier!

Now that all of this has been figured out (thank you Twitter/X!), we can all now enjoy the live show and all of the incredible acts and presenters set to take the VMAs stage. Hopefully, all of this confusion won’t happen again. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to sit back, watch the show, and hope to not have any more interruptions.
