Ariana Grande Doesn’t Really Care If You Think Her Relationship Is Moving Too Fast & I Just Hope It Lasts

In the past several weeks, Ariana Grande has been the talk of the entertainment world following herĀ speedy engagement to Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson. To be engaged at 24 years old (even after several years of dating) is uncommon in todayā€™s societyā€”however, Arianaā€™s extremely short time dating PeteĀ has essentially divided fans into those who ship the relationship and those who find it somewhat concerning.

Ariana recently responded to a couple of tweets that inquired about her new song “Pete,” the validity of her feelings and the stability of the relationship. One tweet stated, ā€œā€˜Peteā€™ girl we know you love him, but are you dumb?ā€ to which the pop singer responded, ā€œnah.ā€

The simplicity of her reply suggests sheā€™s confident in what she has with the SNL star, and she doesnā€™t need to get all defensive. In another tweet, the “No Tears Left to Cry” singerĀ elaborated on why she hasnā€™t been more up in arms about all of the criticism: ā€œIĀ been the fuck thru it, and lifeā€™s too short to be cryptic andĀ shit about something as beautiful as this love Iā€™m in.ā€

Whether that means getting new tattoos with someone she loves or getting engaged only after a few weeks of dating, ArianaĀ is living her best life after previously being in a toxic relationship and experiencing the traumatic bombing at her concert in Manchester, England. We just want her to make the best decisions for her right now.
