Y’all, check in on your fellow Arianators because AG7 has officially been announced. On Jan. 17, Ariana Grande revealed that her seventh studio album, eternal sunshine, will be released on Mar. 8 of this year, and fans are losing it.
But that’s not all, besties. On Feb. 27, the singer dropped eternal sunshine‘s full tracklist on Instagram. The album consists of 13 songs, including Grande’s hit single “yes, and?” Other songs on the album are “intro (end of the world),” “bye,” “don’t wanna break up again,” “Saturn Returns Interlude,” “eternal sunshine,” “supernatural,” “true story,” “the boy is mine,” “we can’t be friends (wait for your love),” “i wish i hated you,” “imperfect for you,” and “ordinary things (featuring nonna).”
If I wasn’t already excited about this album release, I’m now counting down the days until I get to hear these songs for the first time.
Eternal sunshine is Grande’s seventh studio album and her return to music. Her single “yes, and?” from the album, was released on Jan. 12 and instantly became a fan favorite. The fun ‘90s house vibe of the song is much different from Grande’s usual style, so fans are anticipating an album with a similar vibe. I’m ready for it.
Following the release of “yes, and?” and the amazing music video, Grande shared her love and appreciation for fans in an Instagram post. The caption read, “thank you for the overwhelming amount of love and for dancing along my heart is so full and i’m so moved love you all so so so much.”
Fans quickly speculated that AG7 would be titled eternal sunshine after she released the teaser for the “yes, and?” music video on Instagram on Jan. 11. The card that reads “ag7” has coordinate points on it, which fans identified as Montauk, New York, where the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was filmed. Mac Miller, Grande’s ex-boyfriend, loved the movie, and Grande has also mentioned numerous times that Jim Carrey, who stars in the movie, was her first celebrity crush.
Grande’s support from friends and family is always so nice to see, but Arinators on X/Twitter are really losing it.
Some fans are even speculating that Grande will have potential collaborations on the album. TBH, a lot of this is just wishful thinking, but my delulu self is living for it.
It’s safe to say that this album has a very special place in Grande’s heart, and clearly, it’s going to be worth the wait.
