Fans of The Bachelor know this has been a rough week.
In the explosive finale, Arie chose to break it off with Becca and run back into the arms of Lauren Burnham. According to Page Six, he told Burnham, “The best decision was running back to you. You have showed me a love that is patient, a love that is kind. I should have done this a long time ago.”
Talk about a total bummer for Becca!
During their inevitable press tour promoting, you know, their proposal and upcoming union, Lauren and Arie discussed guest invites, including those from Bachelor Nation, with POPSUGAR. “We’ve thrown a lot of ideas out there, but I think I would like to have some of my friends from the show there,” Lauren said. “I think Arie would too.”
Arie then chimed in saying he wouldn’t mind that and jokingly noted “just tell Becca she’s not invited.”

Uh, why would she even want to attend a wedding that was supposed to be hers in the first place? For Arie to even say such a comment speaks volumes about his character, and makes it clear that he was not right for Becca in the end.
But not all is lost for Becca: It was announced that she is going to be the next Bachelorette! Now she can make out with hot guys and hopefully find her Prince Charming!
