Ashley S. may not have found love on The Bachelor, but it looks like she’s getting her happy ending after all. She and fiancé Austin Brannen took to Instagram yesterday morning to introduce to the world their new bundle of joy. Salter (yes, she does have an actual last name) captioned the sweet family photo, “Long stormy night brings a beautiful angel this morning. Brooks Hartman Brannen 7lbs 2oz 4/7/16”
Salter, who appeared on Bachelor Chris Soules’s season as well as spin-off Bachelor in Paradise, announced her pregnancy just two months ago on the television special, The Bachelor at 20: A Celebration of Love.
While Baby Brooks is incredibly cute, the love story leading up to his birth is quite possibly even cuter. Salter and Brannen were actually college sweethearts at Auburn University. There was a falling out of sorts along the way, but that didn’t stop the couple from reuniting last summer shortly after Salter’s appearance on Bachelor in Paradise.
Brannen proposed to Salter in September, and they announced their engagement with an Instagram post jokingly captioned, “12 is better than one #roses.”
