Hey collegiettes™!
So I am back in action! Though I wouldn’t say I am in tip top shape yet, just the fact that I do now have so many assignments and obligations hanging over my head is helping me breathe a little easier.
So my appetite came back today…and it came back strong. Luckily I used what I have learned with the help of the SELF Jump Start Diet to make sure that my hunger did not get the best of me today. For breakfast I had Starbucks oatmeal, but as I was up early today, by mid-morning I needed a little snack so I grabbed some yogurt and granola from the pit.
For lunch I had a Chai tea latte (surprise I know) and a KIND bar.
I have never had a KIND bar before, but I was very impressed. Plus since the bars are just made of just fruits and nuts, they are much healthier than your average granola bar. On a side note, I would just like to point out that until this week that people at the Starbucks on campus had no idea who I was…until today. As of today the lady who normally works in the morning now knows my exact order and my name. I think that might say something about my insane caffeine intake this week.
The most exciting part of my day was being able to get a good workout in today! That might sound weird, but I actually truly enjoy exercise, especially to unwind after a week like this one. 50 minutes on the elliptical and some abs did just that.
For dinner I had a Chargrilled Chicken Salad from Chick-fil-A and a Peppermint Hot Chocolate later to warm me up for my cold walk back to my dorm. All in all, my day was pretty uneventful but I am beyond excited for this weekend, which will hopefully it will be a great combination of fun and relaxation.
