For fans of the Magic Mike franchise, it’s no secret that Channing Tatum can dance. He showed off some different moves, however, during his appearance on Spike’s “Lip Sync Battle.”
In Thursday night’s episode, Channing competed against his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, to see not only who was better at lip-syncing, but who could put on a more over-the-top performance that would blow the audience away. With both of them having dance experience, considering that they met on the set of the 2006 film Step Up, the competition was sure to be fierce.
Jenna wowed us with her choreography to “Pony” by Ginuwine, reminiscent of her husband’s routine in Magic Mike XXL, which ended with a lap dance that left Channing red in the face from laughter.
Channing took it to the next level when he chose to lip sync Beyoncé’s “Run the World (Girls).” He was killing it on his own, with a blonde wig and a replica of the original singer’s outfit from the music video, but our jaws dropped when Queen Bey herself walked out on stage to join him. Granted she was only there for about 30 seconds, but that alone was enough to have Channing bowing down in her presence and to have Jenna, well, like this:

Prior to his performance with Beyoncé, Channing lip-synced “Let It Go” from the Disney movie Frozen, embodying Elsa in a blue gown and blonde wig. Since both Channing and Jenna brought their A-game, it was impossible to pick one winner. The show ended with the host, LL Cool J, announcing a tie, making Channing and Jenna the first championship couple in the show’s history.
