Between having the cutest style in the world and being our spirit animal on “Modern Family”, Sarah Hyland really does rock our world. But thanks to Refinery29, we now know that is not all she is rocking. Now, the actress can add “musician” to her resume.
Hyland joined our favorite acoustic band Boyce Avenue to create a cover of “Closer” by The Chainsmokers ft. Halsey and its safe to say that she absolutely crushed it. Although this isn’t her first rodeo with performing, it was her pop debut. In 1999 she was in the film adaptation of Annie (she played our favorite character, Molly) and she performed in a 2014 production of Hair, according to E! News.
The band captioned their video on YouTube, “We recently traveled to Los Angeles to film a couple videos with our good friend Sarah Hyland” and continued to gush saying that “she is an amazing actress and has a beautiful voice.” And they couldn’t be more right. Check out the video below and then promptly replay it ten times in a row. No? Just me? Oops.
