After the E. Coli catastrophe, Chipotle has been giving out free burritos like candy. Now, they’re offering free chips and guacamole—but only if you play Guac Hunter.
According to Eater, Chipotle is teaming up with Avocados From Mexico to launch a game called Guac Hunter. The game requires players spot differences between two similar pictures in an allotted amount of time. If you win, the prize is…GUAC.
“For many of our customers, guacamole is one of their favorite menu items, and a meal at Chipotle isn’t complete without it,” Chipotle’s chief creative and development officer, Mark Crumpacker, told Fast Casual. “This game allows our customers to enjoy some chips and guac on us, and perhaps encourage others to give guac a try and see what they’ve been missing.”
This is an addition to the millions of offers for free burritos and entrees that Chipotle has given away already, according to the The Chicago Tribune. A series of E. Coli and Norovirus outbreaks last year resulted in a huge loss of sales for the restaurant chain, so free guac is just one of the many ways Chipotle is working to woo back customers.
The game is only available through March 31, so go play it now here. Coupons can be redeemed through April 10—Get your guac on!
