Looking for something to do this Saturday, October 24? Well, even if you’re not, you’re going to want to check this out: Jason Mraz, Sabrina Carpenter, OneRepublic and more are coming together for a Facebook Live concert that you won’t want to miss. Clouds: A Musical Celebration is sure to have you in awe, and in your feels.Â
Held in honor of the new Disney+ film Clouds, the concert will help to support the Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Fund, created by the film’s inspiration, Zach Sobiech, and his family before he passed away. Clouds tells the story of the moving last months of Zach’s life, as his battle with Osteosarcoma came to an end. Diagnosed at the age of 14 in 2009, he was given months to live at 18 and searched for a way to say goodbye to his friends and family, which he found through music.
Zach’s song “Clouds” hit #1 on iTunes on the day of his funeral, and just recently returned to its number one slot thanks to the release of the Disney+ film on Friday, October 16, making Zach one of the first unsigned artists to make it to the top of the iTunes charts twice. It’s only fitting that the best way to celebrate Zach Sobiech’s legacy and support his mission to improve treatments for Osteosarcoma would be through song as well, so be sure to tune into Clouds: A Musical Celebration this Saturday at 2pm EST/11am PST, and check out Clouds, streaming now on Disney+. Starring Fin Argus, Sabrina Carpenter and Madison Iseman, I can guarantee this film will bring tears to your eyes.Â
