If Donald Trump happens to win the New York primary next week, we’ll know that it wasn’t because of his kids. In an ironic twist, it seems as though two of Trump’s five children have “forgotten” to register to vote.
According to Yahoo! News, Ivanka and Eric Trump are not registered to vote in New York, nor are they enrolled in any political party.

“They had a long time to register, and they were, you know, unaware of the rules, and they didn’t—they didn’t register in time,” Trump said during an appearance on Fox & Friends on Monday. “So they feel very, very guilty. They feel very guilty. But it’s fine. I mean, I understand that. I think they have to register a year in advance and they didn’t, so Eric and Ivanka, I guess, won’t be voting.”
The deadline for the two to register and state their party affiliation would have been October 9.
