Queen Emma Chamberlain posted a picture of her Halloween costume on Instagram, but she is not alone! In ultimate cool-girl fashion, Chamberlain posted a photo dressed and posed as the infamous Grady twins from The Shining, arm-and-arm with a tattooed person whose face is (conveniently) not revealed. However, judging by those instantly recognizable patchwork tattoos, we can all assume that the person beside her is none other than Role Model — AKA, Chamberlain’s rumored boyfriend. And with Role Model posting the same photo, it’s the couple’s hardest soft-launch to date. I’m freaking out.
Role Model, born Tucker Pillsbury, first made his appearance with Chamberlain on the red carpet at the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. However, on social media, the couple has tried to keep their relationship private for quite some time. That is, until Halloween.
But, let’s rewind to where it all began. Rumor has it that Emma Chamberlain and Role Model started dating in 2020 after they were photographed together by Chamberlain’s friend Olivia Rouyre. Since then, the couple has made subtle nods to their relationship without officially confirming it. Chamberlain was featured in Role Models’ music video for “neverletyougo” and although her face is never revealed her body language and style instantly gave her away.
Afterward, Chamberlain and Role Model made their first official red carpet debut, details about her preparations were covered by Vanity Fair, however, she doesn’t mention her date for the night at all.Â
It wasn’t until Chamberlain’s appearance in the Call Her Daddy podcast that she first revealed her relationship status, to which she did confess that she was in a relationship, but did not mention Role Model by name. As for Role Model, he opened up about his relationship in an interview with GQ. But, again, he didn’t mention Chamberlain by name. Ugh.
However, maybe this Halloween post is the start of something new. Given that this is the first time that they’ve posted so much of each other, I wonder if they’ll be posting more about their relationship on social media. They’re getting more comfortable with the idea of their relationship being public, and hopefully, it’s only a matter of time before they go IG official, hard-launch-style. Fingers crossed!
