We don’t know about you, but we are in desperate need of more hints, clues and details regarding the Gilmore Girls revival. The most recent tidbit comes from creator Amy Sherman-Palladino herself—the first page of the Netflix series’ script!
Sherman-Palladino exclusively shared the page with Entertainment Weekly, and it gives some really good insight into what the cast of characters will be like after many years away from our TV screens.
The scene, though a simple one, expertly displays the funny banter and carefree relationship that Lorelai and Rory have. And Lorelai’s longwinded sentences and overdramatic sense of being are on full display.
Annoyed at Rory’s gorgeous appearance after a long flight, she says, “You’ve been stuffed in a glorified tin can for seven hours surrounded by people with consumption and diphtheria, scabies, hummus dips, rabid dogs and drugged up children attacking your seat and stealing your change.” Seriously, who thinks to say these things? Gotta love the Gilmores.
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life premieres on Netflix November 25.. But while you’re waiting for the new eps, you should probably catch up on the series—even if you’ve seen every episode a million times already.Â
And if you’re not completely opposed to spoilers, read the rest of the script’s first page here.
