According to the Orlando Sentinel, Michael Shawn Hunt, 43, was arrested on Saturday near a Lana Del Rey concert in Florida after he had threatened to kidnap the singer. He was found with a three-inch folding knife.
Del Rey, whose real name is Elizabeth Grant, revealed that she was okay in a tweet on Sunday.

Police were first alerted to Hunt from an anonymous caller who was concerned with Hunt’s Facebook posts in which he professed his love for the singer and revealed plans to travel from Brandon, Florida to Orlando to be with Grant.
In his Facebook posts, he allegedly wrote “I want to see my queen on Friday and from that day forward our decisions will be as one.” In a separate post about Grant, Hunt said the singer “knows my face in her dreams” and “she’s my always and forever to be” (creeeepy).
He then explained what he planned to do after kidnapping her, “I’m going to probably finish out her tour with her, obviously, and dance and talk and figure out what we’re going to do.”
A police report revealed that Hunt is now facing charges of attempted kidnapping with a weapon and aggravated stalking with a credible threat.

Hunt is being held in Orange County Jail with no bond according to a recent tweet by the Orlando Police.
The Sentinel reported that Hunt has served five prison terms on charges including “burglary of an occupied structure, grand theft of a motor vehicle, grand theft with a firearm, forgery and possession and sale of marijuana.”
