The Tanner gang is (almost) all back together in Netflix’s original Full House spin-off, Fuller House. That is, with the exception of the Olsen twins. There seem to be no hard feelings in real life about the actresses’ absence. When it was confirmed that the duo would not return for the reboot, executive producer Robert L. Boyett stated, “Although Ashley and Mary-Kate will not be a part of Fuller House, I know how much Full House has meant to them and they are still very much considered family.” John Stamos, a.k.a Uncle Jesse, chimed in, saying he “loves them dearly and they’re always welcome on our show.”
But the series certainly plays up the fact that they’re gone. Check out Twitter’s reactions to these two scenes:

Twitter seems to think the show is throwing shade. What do you think of the jokes? Are they all in good fun? Or something more?
