In case you haven’t heard, we’re only a few weeks away from Graduation 2021: To The Future, our second annual epic virtual graduation ceremony! On May 14th at 12pm EST, you’ll hear from celebrities, CEOs, athletes, actors, politicians, and more as we celebrate you, the next generation of changemakers. Today we’re thrilled to announce that Whitney Wolfe Herd, the powerhouse founder and CEO of Bumble, will be joining To The Future as a special guest!
If there’s anyone who can inspire you on graduation day, it’s Whitney Wolfe Herd. She was named to TIME Magazine’s Most Influential People, Forbes “30 Under 30” list, the Bloomberg 50, and InStyle’s 50 Women Who Are Changing the World. She has graced the cover of Fast Company, Forbes, and WIRED magazines. She’s taken Bumble from the first social network where women make the first move to one that facilitates empowered connections across all areas of life. And in 2021, she became the youngest woman CEO ever to take a company public! Now, Wolfe Herd joins To The Future as a special guest to help inspire, motivate, and celebrate the Class of 2021.
Wolfe Herd will be joined by Bumble College Community Leader Nhu Do, who is graduating this May from Duke University with dual degrees in Computer Science and Visual Studies! Since her freshman year, Nhu has been with the Bumble Honey program and currently manages a network of ambassadors to facilitate college-focused brand initiatives. Nhu is passionate about social impact and empowering women, and her interests include graphic design, traveling, and cooking. And following graduation, Nhu will be joining Microsoft as Program Manager where she aims to create accessible technology through artificial intelligence (so casual!).
We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Whitney Wolfe Herd and Nhu Do to Graduation 2021: To The Future! RSVP here for the epic virtual graduation event on May 14th, and check out Bumble to learn more about how and why empowerment matters when making connections, during graduation season and beyond.
