At this point, everyone knows that Taylor Swift is the master of dropping Easter Eggs. And I admit it: I am a Swiftie who is constantly on the hunt for any possible clues of whatever Mother is planning next. So, when I saw what looked to be Harry Styles’ handwriting on Taylor Swift’s Instagram story, my delusions took over. Is this a clue for a Harry Styles feature on 1989 (Taylor’s Version)? I hope so!
On Oct. 25, Swift posted on her Instagram story the handwritten titles of three possible bonus tracks on the re-recording of 1989, which will be released on Oct. 27. Naturally, Swifties were quick to pay attention to the handwriting shown in Taylor’s story — which was a mix of cursive and print in different colored pens. It didn’t take long for many to notice how similar the handwriting of the line “what if” is to Style’s own handwriting. Let’s be honest, if there is a Harry Styles feature on 1989 (Taylor’s Version), this would be the perfect way to announce it.
I took the liberty of looking up old photos of Styles’ handwriting. And, if I’m being honest, it’s extremely similar — especially when it comes to the letter “f.” Could my delulu be coming trulu? Fingers crossed.Â

Fans have already speculated that a few songs on the OG 1989 were about Styles, since many of the lyrics match moments of their relationship which lasted from fall 2012 to January 2013. In her song “Out Of The Woods,” Swift sings, “Your necklace hanging round my neck / The night we couldn’t quite forget / When we decided to move the furniture so we could dance/ Two paper airplanes flying, flying,” which made fans believe this track was about her relationship with Styles because they wore matching paper airplane necklaces while dating. And of course, Swift wrote “Style” with lines like “You got that long hair, slicked back, white T-shirt.” Sounds very reminiscent of 2012 Harry Styles, if you ask me. (And the title is, like, literally his last name.)
Now, after the Instagram stories, fans think that Styles is featured on a bonus track exclusive to the re-release called “What If.”
all i’m saying is i have a harry styles font downloaded and that “f” in “what if” is looking scarily familiar… #1989TaylorsVersion pic.twitter.com/VQDmoZQI9M

I simply need people to stop saying that the what if is written in Harry’s handwriting and it’s a bonus song that he’s featured in because I am scared for the person I will become if that is actually true pic.twitter.com/dcSnWfO4qx

If you need me I’ll be waiting up until midnight to see who is really guest-starring on this album, and what the hell “What If” actually means.
