I recently found out that I’m going to the Super Bowl with Pepsi! I am SO. EXCITED. Seriously, I can hardly stand it.
I’ll fly from Boston to New York City this Friday, January 31, where I’ll meet up with a group of YouTubers and bloggers who are also on the Pepsi trip. Pepsi is really showing us the royal treatment, complete with black-car airport pickups, a swanky hotel, VIP receptions at the Pepsi Hospitality Suite and late-night parties.
For entertainment on Saturday, I got to pick from a bunch of amazing options, like a cooking class at Eataly, a massage, a mani/pedi or facial at an Upper East Side spa or Broadway tickets. I’m a HUGE Broadway fan, so I took the tickets and I’ll be going to see Kinky Boots! I haven’t seen it, but I know it has rave reviews and it’s centered around stilettos. Count me in.
On Sunday, we’ll get up super early and learn all about Pepsi’s work with the NFL and their exciting plans for the halftime show (yay Bruno Mars!). After what I’m sure will be a delicious lunch and some afternoon relaxation, it’s off to the stadium to watch the Broncos and the Seahawks battle it out for the Vince Lombardi Trophy!
The New England Patriots didn’t make it to the Super Bowl, so I have to pick between the two teams… right? Is it okay to cheer for the underdog during the first three quarters and then cheer for the team I think will win in the fourth quarter? Is that kosher football fandom? I guess I’ll just have to play it by ear.
Either way, I’m SO EXCITED! I can’t wait to share my experience with all of you!
