Trump Defends His Towel Toss
After getting criticized for the laidback way he tossed out paper towels to victims of Puerto Rico’s Hurricane Maria, President Donald Trump is trying to explain himself, which we all know usually doesn’t go that well. “They had these beautiful, soft towels. Very good towels,” Trump said in an televised interview with Mike Huckabee. “And I came in and there was a crowd of a lot of people. And they were screaming and they were loving everything. I was having fun. They were having fun.”
Of course POTUS had to stay on brand in this explanation, saying, “So next day they said, ‘Oh it was so disrespectful to the people…The media is really, I think one of the greatest of all terms I’ve used in fake.”
At this point, I really don’t expect much of what Trump says to veer far away from him calling something fake, do you?

Rapper Arrested After Rape Allegations
The rapper Nelly was taken into custody on Saturday after a woman informed police early that morning that he raped her on his tour bus, CNN says. He was arrested on the charge of rape in the second-degree after police investigated the incident, but was released several hours later. Hours after performing at Washington state’s White River Amphitheater, Nelly took to Twitter to claim his innocence, saying, “I assure you I will be vindicated.”
I also want to thank my fans for their unwavering support. They know me. I assure you I will be vindicated. And I assure you, I will pursue every legal option to address this defaming claim. Thank you

McDonald’s Is Trying to Go Vegan
There are some things we definitely don’t need in life. A McDonald’s chain in Finland trying out a vegan burger is one of them. The Tampere, Finland, location is selling the soy-based McVegan patty from Oct. 4 to Nov. 21, but there are currently no plans to bring the burger to the United States. The healthier product joins the vegetarian burgers available in several other countries, including Germany and India.Â
