Donald Trump probably wishes he hadn’t made those comments about Hillary Clinton’s “woman card.” She jumped on the idea, and it just brought in $2.4 million of funding for her campaign, Cosmopolitan reports.
Clinton’s best “I’ve got you now!” face.
For back story: in his victory speech last tuesday night, April 26 (and again on Fox News) after winning several northeast primaries, Trump commented that the only reason for Clinton’s popularity is that she’s a woman, and she plays the “woman card” more than anyone he’s ever seen.
“If Hillary Clinton were a man, I don’t think she’d get 5 percent of the vote. The only thing Clinton’s got going for her is the woman’s card,” Trump said.
Caught your speech, @realDonaldTrump. About that “woman’s card”…https://t.co/kKaHWISchy

Unfortunately for Trump, Clinton fully embraced the idea of “playing” the woman’s card, which she believes means fighting for things like woman’s healthcare, paid family leave and equal pay, enough so that she created a physical “woman card.” For a donation to Clinton’s campaign you can become a bonafide “card-carrying member of the majority.” The hot pink (of course) cards, t-shirts, and other merchandise, along with a fundraising push have since brought in 127,000 donations and raised $2.4 million, The New York Times reports.
Looks like Hillary took the lemons of a hate-filled campaign and made lemonade.
