New music alert! Or at least thatâs what Harry Styles fans have been buzzing about on X/Twitter. With âHS4 AT MIDNIGHTâ trending on the platform, it seems like Stylesâ highly anticipated fourth album (which fans have nicknamed HS4) could not come sooner. Although the trend seemed to have started as a joke, his recent public appearances might say otherwise.
On Feb. 18, Styles made his first public appearance at a football game between Manchester United vs. Luton Town. Fans immediately took note of Styles standing alongside Rob Stringer, the CEO of Sony Music Entertainment. The rumor mill has since been working overtime, especially after Styles was seen on Feb. 20 traveling to France with his bodyguard Paddy by his side. Fans speculate that Styles’s bodyguard is typically off-duty when he’s not working but now that heâs back, they believe that they might be getting new music sooner rather than later.
And who could blame them for all the excitement? Just before the âHarryâs Houseâ announcement, he had apparently been teasing the album all tour and it seemed like no one was picking up on his clues. It only made sense that theyâve taken extra precautions in picking up clues. The next thing you know he drops not only one of the most streamed songs of 2022 but also his most commercially successful album!
Speculation about Styles’s fourth album had been circulating online ever since Styles, Kid Harpoon, and Tyler Johnson (his previous collaborators) were seen together back in September of last year. With Styles back in action and having met with Sony Music’s CEO, there’s a palpable excitement brewing for a potential new release. While the idea of a midnight release seems unlikely, the prospect of new music from Styles within the upcoming year only amplifies the excitement for a year already full of big releases.
But that doesnât mean Stylesâs fans canât let themselves be a little delusional.
All signs lead to HS4 and I canât argue with that!
With Styles heading to France, fans assume that he might make a little appearance during next weekâs Paris Fashion Week. Either way, Harry fans are in for a treat!
Seems like 2024 is gearing up to be a big year for music, and who am I to complain?
