It’s no secret that the Kardashians are the epitome of a household name. Maybe even more than that (if there’s even a word for it). They’re mega-influencers, and no matter what they do—both good and bad—people come out to watch. So when Jessica Chastain recently told The Hollywood Reporter that she admires the Kardashians for their media prowess, specifically Kim Kardashian’s “genius” ability to have complete control over how the media portrays her, we really weren’t that surprised.
The 41-year-old actress revealed that she watched an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians as preparation for her role in her recent movie, Molly’s Game. She said the episode where they were doing media training taught her how to contour her nose, and she raved about Kim’s ability to gain control over the media. “You definitely see that she is a very intelligent person and is learning how to gain control over her life. I mean, she already has it, but especially in media and society,” she said of the reality star.
It’s true, the Kardashian’s do always seem to have a unique ability to spin whatever news comes out about them into something positive, definitely earning them Chastain’s title as “the most powerful women in our society.”
No publicity is bad publicity, as the saying goes—and especially not for the Kardashians.
