On Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! First Lady Melania Trump is featured in a hilarious spoof where she joins ABC’s The Bachelor in the race for the rose (and Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s heart).
In the edit, previous interviews of the first lady talking about her husband were strategically sliced to appear as if she were talking about Luyendyk.
“He’s a gentleman. We have a great relationship and I think that’s very important,” she said. “I don’t want to change him and he doesn’t want to change me.”
In the end, the relationship doesn’t work out and she doesn’t receive Luyendyk’s final rose. “Don’t feel sorry for me, I can handle everything,” she said. LOL.
The montage was inspired by recent news of the First Lady her canceling plans to join husband President Donald Trump on his trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland — an annual meeting of influential financial leaders and business titans. Some suspect it may have been due to recent allegations that the President had an affair with porn star Stormy Daniels in 2006 only months after the birth of their son, Barron. However, East Wing communications Director Stephanie Grisham confirmed with CNN that the first lady canceled the trip due to “too many scheduling and logistical issues.”
Surprisingly, neither the President nor the First Lady made any public mention of their 13th wedding anniversary on Monday. It’s safe to say it may have all been a coincidence, but Kimmel certainly doesn’t think so.
