Just minutes after President Trump’s first State of the Union address, Stephanie Clifford, the former pornographic-film actress known as Stormy Daniels, appeared as a guest on Tuesday night’s show of Jimmy Kimmel Live — and things got a little weird.
The appearance came after this month’s report from the Wall Street Journal that Trump’s lawyer paid Daniels $130,000 to not publicly discuss an alleged sexual encounter the two had in 2006.
Kimmel used a variety of methods to try and get Daniels to admit to the encounter, but she didn’t reveal much.
Daniels did, however, imply that a statement supposedly released by her wasn’t really written by her.
Kimmel first pointed out that the signature on the alleged statement did not appear to match her autograph on headshots or previous statements. Daniels agreed, saying, “It does not look like my signature.”
He then asked where she thought the statement had come from. “I do not know [where it came from],” she said. “It came from the internet.”
Stormy Daniels (going on Kimmel tonight after Trump’s State of the Union) issues a new statement saying she is denying having an affair with Trump not because of a settlement but because “it never happened.”
She would also like you to follow her on Instagram.

She jokingly added, “I also work for the FBI and I’m a man according to the internet.”
At one point in the interview, Kimmel was so determined for Daniels to admit something that he brought out puppets.
He thought that while Daniels might not be able to discuss the alleged incident, maybe a puppet could. Kimmel asked her if she “had sex with a married man at a golf tournament,” since that’s where the encounter is said to have occurred.
And guess what? The puppet nodded!
The two also played a game of “Never Have I Ever,” and at one point, Kimmel brought out three different-sized carrots to see if Daniels would allude to Trump’s — you know. (She didn’t.)
