When relationships are created in the spotlight, it’s rare that they go down quietly and drama-free. Josh Murray and ex-fiancĂ©e Amanda Stanton from Bachelor in Paradise are certainly no exception! Murray’s personal assistant Hayley Watts confirmed with In Touch Weekly that Murray took some extreme (and dumb) measures against Stanton on March 20—and by extreme measures we mean that he called the police to seize the Audi he bought her last October. Can someone say bogus AF?
Let’s go over a quick timeline. The two met last summer on Bachelor in Paradise, where they eventually got engaged. Murray then moved in with her, and he bought her a $30,000 Audi in October. Stanton confirmed their split in Dec. 2016, and now, just three months later (and following a maybe reunion), Murray is allegedly demanding payback for the car.Â
“Amanda told Josh she wanted to work out the car situation when she got back from vacation,” Watts, who was present during the hour-long scene, told In Touch. “But instead of waiting any longer, he called the police the day she got home!” Not cool, bro. Not cool.Â
The Audi was Amanda’s only car, so she was left without transportation the day she returned from vacation. Luckily, her ex-husband and the father of her two kids, Nick Buonfiglio, helped her buy a car next day. “What Josh did was horrible,” Buonfiglio told In Touch.Â
Murray certainly handled the situation in such an immature way, and we’re glad that Stanton was able to get the help she needed!
