We hope you’re sitting down for this one, collegiettes.
Rumor has it that our favorite Spanish soccer-playing hottie from this season’s The Bachelorette, Juan Pablo, is now the front-runner to become the next Bachelor. The Venezuelan-American professional fútbol star hung up his cleats in 2009 in order to stay in Miami with his now 4-year-old daughter. Though he and Desiree, this season’s Bachelorette, hit it off physically, the two failed to make an emotional connection (perhaps it had something to do with the language barrier…) and Juan was let go in episode six.
But now he could be back. As a source who is involved in the casting decision claimed, “The ladies seem to love him, and he’s really good-looking and personable.” We’ll affirm both those claims.
Juan, however, is still a little hesitant about dating 25 women at once. He told E! News after the Men Tell All taping, “That’s pretty tough. I saw Desiree, what she went through. I hate hurting people. I hate hurting girls. I hate looking at girls cry. It’ll be very tough. I have a family, my daughter. Being away from her was very tough. It’s going to be a very tough decision to make.”
The man may not have an expansive vocabulary, but he surely has our vote for becoming next season’s Bachelor.
