Despite the two having reportedly been in an on-again off-again relationship for years, Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber’s engagement was a huge surprise to everyone. It seemed like the couple was together for a solid second before Bieber popped the question, and the announcement came in the blink of an eye. So I thought it was fair to assume that the actual wedding will come just as fast as the engagement. It won’t, though.
It turns out the couple won’t be getting married anytime soon.
A source with “direct knowledge” told TMZ that the couple won’t be having their wedding until next year. The source says that Bieber and Baldwin believe the fact that they’ve committed to each other is the most important thing, not the wedding ceremony itself.
Even though it may seem like the duo rushed into their engagement, another source told TMZ that “Justin’s been in love with [Hailey] for a long time, so this didn’t just come from out of the blue.”
For now, we’ll be happy to just watch their adorable relationship unfold on social media, and patiently wait for their big day.
