When it comes to Bachelor Nation, there’s no shortage of drama. So, it wasn’t surprising at all when some new tea involving Kaitlyn Bristowe and Zac Clark flooded by FYP just at the start of 2024. And while it wasn’t that shocking, it’s definitely messy.
On Jan. 1, former Bachelor Nation star Kaitlyn Bristowe took to her Instagram story to address some online hate — so, I had to know everything. Bristowe rang in 2024 by hosting a New Year’s Eve party at her home in Nashville, Tennessee and the guest list featured none other than former Bachelor contestant Zac Clark, who ended Tayshia Adam’s season with an engagement. A video surfaced of Bristowe with her arm around Clark which instantly prompted some dating rumors.Â
Bristowe, who was the bachelorette in Season 11, called off her two-year engagement over the summer with Jason Tartick, another Bachelor Nation star, after four years of being together. On the other hand, in 2020, Adams accepted a proposal from Clark during her season of The Bachelorette. However, the two split in 2021 in a seemingly amicable breakup. Following this, Bristowe also served as a co-host alongside Adams for season 17 of The Bachelorette. Yup, that’s pretty messy, TBH.
After the video of Bristowe holding Clark at her New Year’s party, the internet was quick to suggest some dating or even potential cheating rumors. But Bristowe was quick to speak up, and clear things up, on her Instagram story. On an Instagram story post, Bristowe wrote, “I had a party with some of my favorite people. Shame. On. You. Not me. I am not one dimensional, what you see on people’s social media does not mean you know them.”Â
While her message does not exactly mention Clark, she has a point. She was sure to mention that there was no cheating in her past relationship, going as far as to “swear on her dog’s lives.” Anyone who follows her doesn’t know every detail of her life, only what she puts online — so, I guess that’s pretty fair. Plus, she announced that she had called off her engagement in August, which leaves a few months for the potential of her to meet or even date new people. Regardless, it’s really none of my business who Bristowe, or anyone, chooses to date.
