Ever since the second presidential debate, people from around the country have fallen in love with “the man in the red sweater,” Ken Bone. The world was charmed by the adorably shy Bone and his use of a disposable camera in the digital age. It wasn’t long until Bone went viral, and the internet started creating wholesome memes of Bone. Unfortunately, it seems like our high hopes for a pure and lovable Ken Bone have been crushed.Â
After Bone was invited to host an “Ask Me Anything” session on Reddit, the Daily Beast looked into Bone’s comment history and discovered a disturbingly slimy comment about Jennifer Lawrence’s leaked nude photos. The comments, which Bone wrote under the username StanGibson18, are about as sleazy and seedy as you can get.Â
“Maybe she should have been more careful with her pics, but the bad guys are still the ones who sought them out and looked at them,” Bone wrote. “By which I mean guys like me. I saw her butt hole. I liked it.”
What Bone doesn’t seem to understand is that Lawrence’s choice to take nude photos was not an invitation to hack into her phone and release them to the world. Lawrence’s privacy was violated, and she was cruelly and ruthlessly mocked on the internet. How someone could ever find pleasure in the cause of someone else’s turmoil is something Bone has yet to comment on. Bone’s nauseating and sexist remarks on J. Law weren’t the only disturbing comments that StanGibson18 wrote. According to the Daily Beast, Bone also wrote that the death of Trayvon Martin was “legally justified.”Â
It’s officially time to move on from Ken Bone.Â
