They say Kris Jenner never rests, but neither does the internet.
The latest story circulating the Kardashian rumor mill centers on the newest member of the West family, a baby girl born to Kim and Kanye on Monday via an anonymous surrogate.
Now that the baby is here, the public has been focused on who exactly came to KimYe’s aid in carrying their third child. And as Twitter ran amuck over the weekend with reports of Kylie Jenner checking in at Cedars-Sinai, you can predict exactly where this train of thought led.
But does the evidence really hold up?
The hospital sighting confirmation is lackluster at best, with TMZ shutting it down and only the inner workings of social media to really account for anything. Not only that, but the family has spoken openly about Khloe undergoing testing for surrogacy (there was even a KUWTK episode about it) — so why hide Kylie?
Yesterday, Kim took matters into her own hands when she published a blog post detailing the intricacies of her experience with surrogacy.
“After exploring many options, Kanye and I decided to use a gestational carrier,” she wrote. “Although I have used the term surrogate in the past, a gestational carrier is actually the technical term for a woman who carries a baby that she has no biological relationship to. A traditional surrogate donates her egg, is artificially inseminated with the father’s sperm and then carries the baby to term. Since we implanted my fertilized egg in our gestational carrier, our baby is biologically mine and Kanye’s. You can either choose someone that you know or you can go through an agency, like Kanye and I did.”
Well, that clears up those rumors. Now we just need to know if Kylie’s really pregnant!
