Kim Kardashian West has been meeting with many people lately. She recently met with President Trump for the release of Alice Marie Johnson and now, according to Variety, she’s fighting the good fight to give us an edit button on Twitter!
I had a very good convo with @jack this weekend at Kanye’s bday and I think he really heard me out on the edit button.

KKW tweeted on Monday night that she spoke with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey about adding an editing button so people can go back and edit a tweet. Variety also reported that in the past, Dorsey had talked about adding the feature (that would probably save folks like Kim’s husband a bit of grief) and that maybe it was in the works. But he didn’t say when we’d see it.
The funniest part, of course, is what fellow Twitter users had to say about it:
User, @KingGage_ claims he had the idea first. We’re sure you did Gage.
I bet @KimKardashian doesnt have any tweets dating this far back @Jack I win ha #TweetEditButton pic.twitter.com/56EhCCWvXw

Lol, perfect use of this phrase.

Come together! Right now, over Twitter.
I despise the Kardashians as much as the next person, but if her influence gets @Jack to create an edit feature on Twitter, I’ll all for it. #Overdue

Some people are calling KKW out, though.

We don’t know about you, but we think an edit button would be the shit — regardless of who makes it happen. Keep on keeping on, KKW.
