It’s Taylor Swift’s world and we’re all living in it. October 2023 has been Swift’s most active month since the end of the Eras Tour. I don’t know about you guys, but I have been living for all of the Swift content we’ve gotten recently. With the Eras Tour movie finally out in theaters and Swift frequently appearing at the Kansas City Chiefs games, this has been a total Swift-ober. Since it seems Swift has gotten even more popular during this spooky szn, she’s the inspiration for many people’s — including myself — Halloween 2023 costumes.Â
Though you could easily go all out dressing up as the singer this Halloween, you could also put together a last-minute Swift-inspired look that won’t go unnoticed. If anyone could pull together last-minute Taylor Swift Halloween costumes, it’s Swifties! Here are a few ideas for the girlies who want to live out their Taylor Swift fantasy for Halloween but have little time to put together a costume.Â
We’re in our Chiefs era!Â
In case you haven’t checked social media recently, Swift’s been seen at multiple NFL games since Sept. 24, supporting her rumored boyfriend Travis Kelce, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. Swift and Kelce’s rumored romance comes after he attended the Kansas City stop of her Eras Tour concert in July 2023. There, Kelce attempted to gift Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it, but was unsuccessful.Â
After Swift was photographed at a Kansas City Chiefs game wearing a KCC windbreaker, fans immediately flocked to the team’s website to purchase that same jacket.
The original windbreaker costs $114, but if you’d like to replicate Swift’s look, there’s an option to purchase a vintage Chiefs windbreaker online.Â
Midnights on Halloween
One of my favorite Eras Tour outfits was Swift’s fringe metallic jacket she wore during the show’s finale. Luckily, Nasty Gal sells a similar jacket for $100. Trust me when I say, if you wear this on Halloween, you’re guaranteed to make the whole place shimmer.Â
Dancing like we’re 22 (ooh ooh)
If you’ve been a fan of Swift since the Red era, this costume is for you! Most of the Red era can easily be categorized in one outfit: Swift’s iconic 22 shirt. The original “Not A Lot Going On At The Moment” shirt debuted in the “22” music video, but Swift brought it for the Red section of her Eras Tour. If you want to recreate this look for a last-minute Halloween costume, Nast Gal has you covered as they sell a similar shirt for $17.
Sick of running as fast as you can? Dress up like The Man!Â
When Swift performed “The Man” on the Eras Tour, it was clear that she wanted to make a statement. Swift wore a glittery gray blazer with matching heeled boots. “The Man” is one of my favorite songs off the Lover album and if it’s yours too, I highly suggest purchasing a gray blazer and some glittery heels to live out your dreams of performing “The Man” on stage.Â
