A piece of our heart was ripped out when we found out Glee would be ending after its sixth season, which aired in March 2015. It is hard to believe it has been over a year since we last saw our favorite glee club together. And it is even harder to believe that it has been seven years since the show debuted on FOX.
To celebrate the momentous occasion, Lea Michele, who played iconic, type-A songstress Rachel Berry on the series, posted a #TBT of the cast, and it is probably the most heartfelt and touching photo we have ever seen.
Seven years ago, the original members of the show’s McKinley High glee club posed for a group photo at FOX’s upfronts, mere days before the show premiered. “To think we aired 7 years ago today.. Found this photo from our Upfronts trip to NYC just days before the premiere,” Michele wrote. “No matter where we all are now.. I will always think back to this night. #glee” *Insert endless crying face emojis*
Although the beloved Glee cast will never all be together on our television screens again, we will always remember the joy and laughter the cast of characters brought us over the years.
