There’s always that one TV series character who makes fans swoon and for lovers of HBO Max’s The White Lotus, that’s Leo Woodall. For those who don’t know, Woodall appeared in the second season of the drama series and immediately captured hearts. For a while, many wondered if Woodall was single but that question was soon answered after Season 2 finished airing.
Although Woodall is many people’s onscreen crush, he’s happily taken. At the end of 2022, Woodall was spotted with his White Lotus co-star Meghann Fahy (who played Daphne Sullivan) on several occasions. While their characters weren’t love interests on the show, sparks appeared to have flown between these two off-screen.
On Sept. 11, 2022, Woodall posted a carousel of photos on Instagram featuring Fahy and their friends. The actor captioned the post, “That’s amore.” Fahy later commented, “I love you! I love these! I love you! 😘♥️,” with Woodall replying “Love you right back ♥️.” Ugh, I can’t with this cuteness.
Two months later, Fahy shared a series photos of her time in Italy and two of them featured Woodall.
Throughout 2023, the pair continued to spark dating rumors. It wasn’t until Nov. 22, 2023, when Woodall and Fahy seemed to confirm their romance when they were seen kissing underneath an umbrella in New York City. When Fahy was asked during a Jan. 15 interview with Entertainment Tonight about her relationship status, she answered with, “I can’t confirm or deny…suffice it to say Italy was good for me in more than one way.”
On Jan. 8, Netflix UK, Ambika Mod, and Woodall posted collaboratively on Instagram about the upcoming Netflix limited series, One Day. If the name of this rings a bell, it might be because it’s a series adaptation of the 2011 film starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Strugess. The collaborative Instagram post featured posters of Mod and Woodall as their characters. Fahy showed her support by commenting “👏👏.”
At the 75th Primetime Emmys on Jan. 15, Woodall and Fahy sat front row but did not walk the red carpet together. They were also seen embracing each other at an Emmys after-party. That night, Fahy was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Daphne.
I think we can safely assume these two are definitely a couple— after all, there are photos of them kissing. We’ll just keep hope alive that we’ll see more of Woodall and Fahy together now that their romance has been confirmed!
