Lindsay Lohan is reportedly making a comeback in the sequel to one of the best movies from our childhood.
Tyra Banks was a guest on Steve Harvey this week, where she confirmed that Lohan would take part in the upcoming Life-Size 2. “Lindsay Lohan will… be in Life-Size 2, yes! Yes, I really, really want her to,” she said. “We’re talking about it right now and she has got to come back!”
Banks told Buzzfeed earlier this month that she and Lohan had been keeping in touch through DMs. “I was like, ‘Yo, I’m producing Life-Size 2 are you down?’ And she was like, ‘I’m down to the down.’ Like, she’s so down! So, we’re working on the script now and I’m telling the writer I don’t want her to just have a cameo. I feel like she was just as important to Life-Size 1 as I was, so I want her to have a role, at least three or four scenes. I think she would play herself grown up—like, Casey in Life-Size grown up. So, we’ll see!”
Rumors of a Life-Size sequel were confirmed in 2015 when Disney began development on the project, which is slated to air on Freeform. Banks, who is an executive producer on the film, told Variety in December 2015, “There is no one else that can play Eve but me, thank you very much! I’m just joking with you, but yes, I am going to be Eve.”
Lohan starred in the original Disney Channel film, Life-Size, back in 2000 alongside the supermodel. The film centers on a young girl named Casey (Lindsay Lohan) who is struggling after the death of her mom. On her birthday, her dad gifts her with a doll named Eve (Tyra Banks). Casey does a spell for her mom to come back to life by using hair from her mom’s hairbrush, but instead, Eve comes to life. Angry at Eve for benefiting the spell, Casey at first is hesitant to be kind, but ultimately, her and Eve learn a lot from each other and have laughs along the way as Eve navigates human life.Â
I am so excited for this sequel! Now, I just need Tyra to recreate that famous typing scene.Â
