Hey everybody!
Well it is that time for me. Finals week! There is nothing too exciting to report about. This weekend has just been filled with studying, studying, making meals for the week, and more studying!
I spent most of the day today in the library studying geology and statistics! Sounds amazingly fun, right? Well I was well prepared with my carrots and hummus, orange, string cheese and peanut butter and jelly sandwich. The snacks kept me alert and awake.
I did go to my friend’s apartment for dinner tonight and she made this uh-mazing chili!
It is so good and the recipe makes so much that you can store it in Tupperware to have throughout the week!

I will try to keep up with the posts through out the week, but as you know, finals time is crunch time.
So Weekend Warriors, how did we do? Honestly, I did not do that well. I had a lot of peanut butter on Saturday and my friend made rice krispie treats and I went to town on those. I thought it would hard to admit this because old Jessica would see this as a fail. Instead, I am going to shake it off and try to think why I had these food binges. I can tell ya, STRESS! I wish I would treat the weekends like normal days. Normal week days for me have structure so I eat around my schedule and it works out! Weekends, especially this weekend, I don’t have a lot of plans because I mostly studying. And if I don’t leave the apartment, I have a lot of food in my reach. I need to work on having healthier weekends. Oy.
So I did not have the best weekend, but I have 4 more days at school and then I am home! While home I will be doing some spring cleaning and I will try to think of strategies to conquer the weekend slip ups!
