Happy Friday collegiettes™!
I cannot tell you how happy I am that it is Friday. Not only is the weekend ahead of me, but I am done with Winter Quarter. All that stands in my way of a relaxing Spring Break is 4 finals- no big deal. I am coming off a high of A’s on my last two mid terms! Holla!
Another thing Friday brings is the weekend. Alright, for all of you who joined my Weekend Warriors club, the challenge is among us! Let us take on the weekend with our heads high and ready for any temptation it brings. I forsee in my weekend lots and LOTs of studying. This means I am going to need the proper snacks to fuel me and keep me focused so I don’t find myself slacking off and reaching for junk food.
I recommend having easy, healthy snacks that are quick to make so you don’t spend too much time worrying about food and can instead channel that energy into studying. For me, being a person who loves crunchy carbs, I suggest having 100-calorie bags of popcorn. Those are quick and delicious! If you head on over to the Jump Start Diet page, their list of snacks is very helpful. For finals weekend and week, I will have on hand: yogurt, almonds, carrot sticks and hummus, string cheese, fruit, and the dangerous peanut butter. Well I say dangerous because I am capable of eating an entire jar of peanut butter in a couple sittings. This is why I do not allow it in my apartment. Almond butter for me! It is great with celery, apples, oatmeal, bread, the list could honestly go on forever!
Apologies for the lack of post yesterday. I got home from school at 10:30pm and was ready to crash!
